Rule #14 and #23 contradict each other. Do you race back to the line or not???
LOL. I was sent a email about this today. The rule page is fixed now. We will be freezing the field when a caution flies. When a caution comes out,you do not put your brakes on to slow down immediately. Just let off the gas pedal and let the car coast to catch up with the rest of the field where we would then be at the pace lap speed. The leader should let everyone know where he or she is until he or she knows the rest of the field has all caught up. There is know reason why anyone should be blasting so fast to catch up under caution that they might end up taking out half the field because they couldn't slow down fast enough after catching up to the field.
A group from my road racing league was messing with this mod and we encountered a problem at Daytona where, if you pitted under caution, you got nailed for driving too slow once you came back out and got sent to the end of the line. Is there some way to fix this?
I will have a look inside the NSS rfm file to see if there is a adjustment for that. I think it might be a game thing though. Have you not experienced this in any of the other stockcar mods?
Well, i havent done much stock car racing in rF, mostly practice/testing sessions on our server. The few races i did run didnt use yellow flags. Just noticed this the other night and was wondering. Im sure it is the same in the other mods...perhaps some other leagues could offer some insight in how they handle this?
